Our Story

We Rebuilt This
From Scratch.

The ABQ Wolves didn't have the smoothest start. The first exhibition? We got our asses handed to us. Then the entire team quit. It wasn't pretty.

But what went wrong wasn't the talent — it was the process. The original tryouts were closed off to one company's members only. That's not how you find the best players in Albuquerque. That's not how you build a real team.

"So we started over. New ownership. New approach. New standard."

On April 4th at The Picklr — the most state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility in New Mexico — we're holding open tryouts. Anyone can walk in. Any age. Any background. If you have game and the right attitude, we want to meet you.

We believe in being upfront. No surprises. Here's the full picture of what being an ABQ Wolf actually looks like.

Season Length
20 Weeks

Starting April 18th, every other weekend through December.

Travel Range
Up to Phoenix

We keep travel regional. The farthest we'll go is Phoenix — no cross-country commitments.

Practice Schedule
2x Per Week

Two-hour sessions twice a week. We ask for a minimum of one practice per week — life happens, we get it.

Roster Size
10 Players

We carry 10 so we always have 6 available to compete. Weekends fill up — we built the roster with real life in mind.
